We are eon's ahead of anything out there. Imagine an atomic powered sub, 488' long, with a bullseye on every critical target in the world.

When these boat's come in for service, only at night, and completely covered.

That's cool... Something like that would be so useful, With a asset like that I dare say there would be a massive defense fleet attached to it. Because of it's size and the required support ships, it wouldn't have to worry much about been hidden. So my bet is it will be jammed packed full of sensors, radars, etc it's not like it doesn't have the room.

I'm doubt full that anything will be able to get anywhere neer something like that with out been detected. And the scary thing is it has heaps of room for defense weapons.

If I was trying to sink something like that, I would opt for a ICBM, because I'm not to sure a sub or a plane could get neer it with out been intercepted. And it should have a very big support fleet.

IMO they would of thought about this too and problary have a well thought out defense system specially for ICBM's

But on the other side something like that would be excellent with support to disaster stricken nations.

I guess we where just so far ahead of iraq and afgan that we would just crush them as well,probably by the time thats built heli's will be coming in on auto pilot guided bye sensors on the moving ship, no pilot errors to be made.I am old school and think you should just give someone a beat down bare fisted, But even i know the worst thing to do is underestimate anyone,we think the chinese can only make junk..... I think they make what we are willing to pay for.china said they would take over the usa 30-40 years ago,without firing a shot.not there yet.but how do you think the picture will look in 20 more years?
