Default high speed combat?

would this work instead of having destroyers and slower boats firing in volleys you have instead rc power boats armed with those mini series bb machine guns mounted on the front so you had to more aim the boat in the right direction to hit the other boats.
basicly youd just have to get hold of a reasonably fast electric power boat to fit one of these to it

i realise that they arent the most powerfull of guns so i was wondering if you could try and hit a target on the back of your enemys boat and likewise for your boat.

im just thinking out loud here so tell me if its just a stupid idea

Default RE: high speed combat?

Some of the members of [link=http://www.nwlink.com/~pfleming/]Queen's Own[/link] have set out to build 1/48 scale PT, vosper, and schnell boats. I am not sure what they expect to hit at those speeds, but I suppose as long as they have fun...
