Default RE: Battlers Connetion

One of the guys in the NTXBG has one (Jeff Burns). It kind of depends on what format you are going to be using it in - Big Gun or Small/Fast Gun. If Big Gun, you might be better off with a Prince Eugen - similar size, speed, armament, but includes Torps and, I believbe, mines. I don't know how good or bad it is in Small/Fast Gun. Barnstormer Boats has a nice PE hull, too (and you can get a lightweight superstructure from them, too). In Big Gun, the DeMoines class is good against Deutschlands (trading firepower for speed), and for cargo raids, and as a damage absorption unit on Alled cargo ships, but not much of a threat to actual battleships.

If you want more information from "those what gots 'em," there are a couple of Yahoo Groups with lots of active participants BigGunsModelWarship for Big Gun, IRCWCC for Small/Fast Gun. Jeff tries to monitor both.
