Default Whats a brotherhood?

Hi I'm new this site and was curios to all the brotherhood reference's and airframes, are they clubs that you can join?
Apparently a side effect of getting old missing out on how the next generation decides what words means. I thought a brotherhood had a religious context so I don't get. Thanks for the help.

it's merely a group of folks here who have an admiration for a particular airframe... it's nothing but a bumper-sticker..
here's an example:

Heis right, a brotherhood is just a group of like minded folks. It is rather informal and not so much like a religious cult. But you could surmise that the likemindedness is close to worshiping a particular engine, engine manufacturer or model or even a type of a model (e.g. "war birds"). So a club like reference is not far off but there is no dues, rules or whatever.

Quick question, how can I update and list on an earlier post? I put a PFD list in post 2, and can not longer edit older posts. Is there another way to do this

you're trying to edit the PDF or the post itself?
to edit / re-upload the PDF I THINK you'd need to modify your attached files in your profile.
I'll check and report back

New question: I'm starting a build on a X250 kit but plan to modify it for twin motors, what thread is it best to post the build in since it is not a straight up build or a scratch build

Old thread, I know, but as it answered part of my question I felt it better to revise this one than start another. The unanswered part of my question is: "Is there a list of all the brotherhoods somewhere?"

Geez, haven't seen any particular list anywhere but it sure would be fun to see one. Might just have to start searching and see what we could come up with.
