K&B won't start
this is a 7.5 inboard with a perry carb/no pump. i bought it used with an exhaust throttle. this i replaced with the rotating barrel and carb
from another 7.5.IB. the fuel cell is about 3" away and tuned pipe pressurized.. the tank level is a little below carb inlet when half full.
it will crackle when spun. wants to start......but won't. it almost seems like a timing issue. all tubing no leaks. what am i missing here ?

If the venturi size is larger with the replacement carb than the original venturi then this may be responsible for insufficient fuel draw even though you are also using pressure from the header/pipe. I would try raising the tank level to improve the tank to spray bar height relationship.
