Question series or paralell

If correct , series will give me more power but parallel will give me more flying time ? I have a heavy duty axis motor with a castle 90+ esc ,plane weight 16 pounds , I am leaning towards parallel but persons I have spoke to tell me series .
Being relatively new with electric power , flown glow / gas , I 'm reaching out to the RC group to see what the general feeling is .

When I ran my mini e-revo I did parallel as I wanted a longer run time. It just comes down to which benefit you want at that time.
