Posting photos on the new format (NOT!)
 

I've been on the forum for a decade, but I can't a photo to post.

Everytime I go through the motions, I get a little orange exclamation mark no matter how much I shrink it

Help, please?

I'm having the same difficulty... I apologize for the delay, I'll get hold of tech and make sure they're aware there is still a problem.

this is odd... I can only upload a picture using the 'advanced reply' function, then the 'basic uploader'
still checking.

uploading using the basic uploader seems to work...

kram, I realize this is not a fix, but it should get you going for right now.... if you click the 'basic uploader' link, that one does work for me.
(at least until we get an answer about the normal uploader) you MAY need to navigate to a different page to get that basic uploader link to display...
(I had to switch pages after uploading each image.. otherwise the basic uploader link would disappear.)

For several hours this afternoon, I couldn't even sign on to the forums, so I couldn't respond to you.

Nothin I tried fixed it, so I just gave up and came back later

Now I can post, and I can use your "basic uploader" trick, but still can't use the usual mechanism.

And there was one picture I wanted to post that kept going upside down, no matter how I rotated it before attaching. Weird?

Anyway, thanks for your help. Every once in a while I just need to be reminded how little I really know about computers when they don't behave

;) no worries... I also just got confirmation that the tech guys ARE aware that there's still a problem...
so that's a good sign at least. ;)

'normal' Uploading is now working!
(no need to use the 'basic uploader' anymore.)
