Old thread new report....FAA data and Drones
Being a full size pilot owning two planes, an RC fixed wing pilot and scratch designer and builder I have both feet in the door. I love most things which fly.
Here is a new report about this problem. I am sure there is very little left to be said that members haven't already said in previous posts regarding this subject. It is only a matter of time before the tragic accident. Just.want to offer up the report. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/faa...VNVf?li=AA54ur |

While I appreciate the issue of drones/quads vs full size, I couldn't help but question this paragraph in that article:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2115934 A Cessna pilot reported a drone OVER THE U.S. CAPITOL???? I don't fly full-size, but I've always understood that you CAN'T fly over DC. How did a Cessna pilot see a drone in the air over DC, unless he ALSO was over DC? Just an observation. |
