Default Amount of Oil venting from 91CD

Is the amount of oil vented from the 91CD indicative of carb setting; example: excessive oil equals too lean a setting; I ran my 91CD fro about 10 minutes and was able to extract 7-8mls of oil from the collection resevoir I installed on my plane; the engine ran good, is this amount oil normal or is the carb setting too lean?

It's normal................when the oil turns clear, engine is broken in. You will get a lot of oil from the vent from this engine.

It is a good indication that the engine is getting thoroughly lubed! If you want, you can put some fuel tube on the breather and collect this oil (to keep you plane clean). A few of our customers use a camera film case to collect the oil.

I hope this helps
