Default 101" Ziroli

[8D]Hi there,

I have several of your engines and love them! I just bought a 101" Ziro;i B-25. Do you make an engine for that model? I was thinking about 2 RCV 120's. What do you recommend?

Hi David

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I was attending the IhobbyExpo in the USA.

We haven't any experience with this model, but I have looked around the web and have found that whilst many use G23 or G26's some modellers have used .90 size 2-stroke and a 120 YS. In light of this I reckon the RCV120SPs would give you bomber performance rather than fighter performance.
If you wanted to do this, please let me know as it would be better if we supplied you two matched engines for this model.

Best regards
Laurenne

I never get in a hurry. There's always more building to do. I hope you had a good show.

Can you make a counter-rotating engine? Would I have trouble finding a 3-bladed prop?

Hi David

Unfortunately we cannot make counter rotating engines, sorry. With regard to 3-bladed propellers, you can use APC 15.75x13 3-bladed props and I believe that KMP will soon be launching some 3 & 4 bladed props suitable for RCV SP series engines. I would say though, that as the 120SPs are at the lower end of the engine requirements for your plane, a 3-bladed prop (which are not as efficient) may not be suitable.

Best regards
Laurenne
