WOT RCV58 ????
Hi
I have a newish RCV 58 engine and Im running a 11x8 APC prop
The max rpm is about 7800rpm is this right at full throttle i cant lean it out anmore as it dies so i keep it on the side of rich.
Have I chosen the wrong prop??
Also can I run 30 percent powermaster in the engine??
I am running for instance about 10 percent

RE: WOT RCV58 ????
7.8K is not nearly enough rpm.
The recommended max prop is 11x7 or 12x6
I have 2 58CD's and both will turn 9.5K with the recommended props.
Maybe even an 11x6 might get it up there.
I would not recommend 30% nitro, you will probably blow the guts out of the motor (I am assuming 30% Powermaster means 30% Nitro)
Are you using the recommended fuels? This is VERY important, as is the correct run in procedure.
