Tank Position

In the instructions for my 90SP, the tank position is specified to be "as close to the carb centerline as possible". Before installing the engine in my Mustang I've decided to fly it after break in running in my GP Spacewalker. About the best I can do is mount the tank centerline 5/8" below the carb center. Due to other cowling restraints, rotating or re-indexing the engine is not practical.

So my question is - is this too low?

If so, do you have any suggestions (like a pump, etc)?

Thanks very much.

Tony

RE: Tank Position

Hi Tony

The fuel tank can be located at up to 2" below the carb centre line without any problems providing you use muffler pressure.

There is a nipple on the muffler for this purpose.
You shouldn't need to use a pump in this situation.

I hope this helps
Best regards
Laurenne
