RUNNING TEMPERATURE

Hello , I am running in my 120 SP, what is the correct temperature for an uncowled engine running at full power, what is the safe range?
Thanks
Yoram

RE: RUNNING TEMPERATURE

Hi Yoram

The RCV engine runs around 185 - 200 degrees at the exhaust. There is no correct temperature as this will depend on the environment etc. The engine has good thermal characteristics (with no hot or cold spots) so as long as you don't notice a significant power drop due to heat, then it will be running in the safe range.

I hope this helps
Best regards
Laurenne
