G’day RCV

Could you please advise me which SP engine would best suit (spinning a 4 blade prop) a Top Flite P47 Gold Edition ?

Hello Buz2au,

The best RCV SP engine for your P47 will be the RCV90SP using a 15.5 x 12 APC propeller. If you could run the engine in first on a 18x 12 APC propeller before running on a 4 blade blade that will be ideal.

Thanks for the info Angela, I was leaning towards a 120sp myself, but the 90sp being 8oz lighter maybe a better option as I'm aiming for 10.5 - 11 lb build.

Yes I will be using a 15.5x12 4b APC prop & will use 18x12 2b APC prop for running in on the bench.
