RCV91 cd

Hello all,

I am thinking of using this engine in a 11.5 lbs scale airplane which I am enclosing in a cowl which this would fit great. I am having issues with an OS91FX and thinking this would fix it

I have a few questions though...

1-My tanks are 8" behind a normal 2 stroke carb, will this pull fuel from there without a problem?

2-Will this engine be sufficient for this weght of plane and fly scale with some authority?

Thanks

Mike

The RCV .91 engine would be more than enough power for the 11.5 model and would fit very nicely into that cowling, but be certain you have enough air flow to cool the engine or she'll overheat in a heart beat.

I have the area below the spiiner and the cowl open as well as the scoop area. I also have a large exit hole on the bottom which gives a closer to 3:1 ratio

Thanks

You know if you just took the whole sha-bang and converted it to electric, and say add some "Real Sound", you could solve that heat problem!!
