I used the lightning's body posts as battery posts. they are really tall, so you can cut them to the hight needed for your lipo pack. I also removed the 2 bumps on the bottom, and added a lexan shield to the side of the chassis.

velcro strip on the chassis and battery doesnt hurt either. will keep the battery from getting thrown out of the vehicle (ive had it happen!)
Okay, thanks. I've ordered some Lightning body posts. Iguess if I remove the outer 2 of the 4 battery supports, the side of the chassis will keep the battery from moving around too much especially if Iadd the strip of velcro as you suggested.
