Default Volcano EPX PRO 1/10 Lost Connection [HELP]

I own the Volcano EPX PRO 1/10 Scale Electric Brushless Monster Truck. The signal used to be good until about a few weeks ago. When the truck is on the ground and if it's about 10-15 feet away from me, it looses signal and I have to walk up to it to get my signal back. Everything is stock on it. Is this a problem because of the RCR-2C 2.4GHz controller or receiver?

Nothing, everything blanks out until I come around 7 feet away from it then I get back my signal.

If antenna wires seem okay and you had no major mishaps with the Volcano, then go ahead and bind the transmitter/receiver again. That is what Redcat will tell you to do after making sure of fresh batteries...blah, blah, blah. It the Volcano relatively new? If so, don't wait too long contact Redcat. If re-binding the radio doesn't work for you. Maybe try another receiver. I'm pretty sure Redcat RCR-2C radio is a re-branded FlySky FS-GT2 that is used in a lot of their RCs. The FlySky receivers (FS-GR3E) are around $6 and I'm 99% sure they will work with the RCR-2C. At least that is what sellers are saying about the Redcat replacement FS-GR3E receivers. And don't be fooled into buying a "Official Redcat replacement" receiver at $17 ~ $22, that's a ripoff. You can buy a whole new FS-GT2 radio for that price almost.

I have ordered it as soon as you sent that message and the receiver is coming mid September since it's coming from China
