Redcat racing blackout sc
Hi there i have the a blackout sc that i upgraded to castle creation sidewinder 3 4600kv everything is stock but the battery is a lipo :floureon 5200 mah 30c my question is if i change the wheels to fastrax sc jigsaw , i have to more questions how much teeth do i have to lower to avoid over heating and losing acceleration and second thing is, will it put too much stress on the spur gear .

Are they the same diameter tire ?
If they grip more , it could heat up your esc /motor so it could be worth dropping a tooth . Only way to check is with a thermometer .
Do you have a brass pinion ? They are known to fail so might be worth getting a better one .
I think there might be a steel upgrade spur if you really need it , but I would stick to plastic to start .
