So I am trying to get the new volcano exp pro right. I broke lower control arms, hub, and axel on first bashing. There was too much slop in dog bones on front end (stock) wich led to the damage. I upgraded with aluminum hop up kit, and the slack in axels increased. Dogbones popped out even easier. Shimmed behind dog bones with fuel line, and it worked for a bit, but ultimately failed. I think the stock 87 mm axels are too short. Has anyone tried 90mm or even 100mm dogbones? It seems like there's room and wouldn't bottom out.

these are the axles I personally recommend. They are thickened and incorporate a universal joint at the hub, so issues with the dogbones popping out of the joints are a thing of the past for me.
