Default vx.18 conversion to single speed?

Hey guys, just wondering what parts I would need to convert a vx. 18 to a single speed. What clutch bell etc.? I'm not sure what other parts would be needed. I was gonna change my xl to a 2 speed but was advised to keep it simple so now I just want a bigger engine on my car, thus the .18. Help me out! Thanks guys! Arlin.

are you wanting to upgrade engines? if so i've heard that this is a good replacement http://www.osengines.com/engines/osmg2104.html

either do that or keep the vx .18 and pair it with the single speed conversion from clearmont motorsports

will that conversion kit work with my tornado? I read about it and it only mentions the volcano. My tornado is already set up to be single speed so I'm still a little confused as to whether I just need a new clutch bell or not.

leave your tornado the same way, you wont gain anything out of it.

I think there is a misunderstanding. He has a tornado single speed which already is a single speed lol...

it is an improvement over the 2 speed xp, not the single speed lx, the lx doesnt have all those gears in it to begin with like the volcano transmission so it would not be that great of a help.

I think everyone was confused. My question was basically, did I need to change clutch bells on the 18 to make it work with the single speed tranny already in my xl. and if so, which one would I need to buy? Sorry for the mess! arlin.
