Excuse my ignorance. I went to my LHS to look at wheels most of the 2.2 wheels dont have a hex. Does this mean that i need to remove the hex from my axels ? I have a tornado xp and I noticed that the depth the wheels are diffrent will this affect the turning radius? I fear that the wheels may hit the steering knuckle. WHat is a good all terain tire to use? I noticed that the factory tires are so soft that I wear them out when I run it on the road.

you need 2.2 rears not front, the fronts usually dont have hex's in them. most everything wears down when your on road, just stay away from knobby tires for onroad.

You can paint or dye them, dying them seems to work better than paint as paint can flake off.
I took my yellow wheels and dyed them black, then topcoated with black Fusion paint. I may take them off and paint them with another couple coats and even topcoat with a good durable clear to help resist the fuel.

Anyone have any spare Chrome Rims that came on the Volcano SV Pro that they want to sell? My son cracked one and he does not like the yellow or green ones that are available. I know I could paint them but thought I would see if anyone has some they want to part with.
Thanks.
Update......
Found them today at Everett Motorsports, http://www.rufaster.com/home.html. They are not listed, but I sent them an email asking if they were available. Mike quickly responded and the rims shipped out today. Thanks Mike.
