Air Filter Oil
Hi everyone I'm new to this forum so forgive me for asking a question thats probably been answered a million times . I went to the hobby shop today and picked up everything I needed except air filter oil for my new Tornado BB (purchased as my first Nitro RC after reading these forums). I was just wondering if after run oil could be used in its place until I get something more suitable or if its a bad idea. Any suggestions on what kind of air filter oil to use would also be appreciated. Thanks a lot .

RE: Air Filter Oil
Any thing is better than nothing, but air filter oil is super thick and sticky which helps to fill in the gaps and collect dust. I've used dirt bike air filter oil before, but any thing is better than nothing, motor oil would probablly be better than after run oil, since it's much thicker. If you have a bottle of engine oil laying around I would use that instead of the after run oil(only temporarly though)
