I have purchased 4 vehicles (2 Volcanos, 1 Monsoon, 1 Avalanche) and a bunch of parts from Tri-County. I have had Excellent service from them.
Good Price. Fast Delivery. Good Product (Redcat), and They always respond to my e-mails within 24 hours.
I would recommend them to anyone.

I they arent responding to your e-mails, you might check your e-mail Filter. Check your Junk mail too..
Give him one of your order number's red and let him PM you the info of that order and that would verify who he is correct ?

WAIT ONE MINUTE you come in these forums under the pretense the you are tri county WITH A NEW ACCOUNT NAME asking for information on what orders have been made ? If who ever ordered from this person I wouldnt give any information without clearing it with RedcatRacing, or someone that can verify who they are. something like that seems like a scam to me.

What are you talking about?
Man I'm not trying to give you a hard time, I'm just looking out for the one's who may not know any better and give account info out to someone who claims to be who they are without justification of who they are ? All you should need out of anyone is an account number or order number and if you are who you say you are then you should have all that info already.

I remember when redcat was moving...someone said they had parts and to go check their store on ebay...went there and only seen cars and starter kits...now im not saying they dont....what I am saying is hey if u got parts PLEASE put up a site were we can look through what ya got and place orders...times like right now some parts are scarce...and knowing were to get a specific part without having to email tons of people would be nice...for instance someone was looking for front bumper and lower arms for a hurricane...all the places I could think of were out...then I remembered rufaster..luckily I think he found what he needed...granted people are going to have their favorite dealers...but if u wanna run and ur broke down and u can get a part somewhere else ur gonna go there...few times I thought I was going to have to order from rufaster..I have a p.o box and their shipping to p.o boxes is expensive...

Ive bought parts from a number of dealers, both here on the forum and some OFF forum folks. I have seen NOBODY, including Redcat that lists ALL the parts that are available.
Example: I needed the rear Backplate gasket(rear engine seal). The p/n is NOT listed in My Redcat Manual.
I e-mailed Tri-County and described what I wanted. They sent the correct part to me.
Also, I THINK they are just an E-Bay store (not Bricks n Mortar), and I know they do Drop shipments from Redcat , directly to You.
So, If Redcat Bogs a little or is Back ordered on a part or vehicle, it might affect a shipping date.

As far as Dual accounts on the Forum? I honestly dont Know about that, but if they broke a forum RULE,,, Im sure Ken will Bust em for it!

Here is an e-mail address that I use to correspond with Tri-County.. [email protected]
I hope it helps.....

Also. I dont think they are Scammers or dishonest in any way.
If you check their E-Bay Satisfaction Rating,( You did that before you bought from an e-bay vender,....right?), you will see that it is almost 98% positive with close to 400 transactions. Thats pretty good considering all the newby types (like me[:-]) that buy Nitros from them.

im not saying their bad..I wont say a persons bad unless I deal with them myself...problem with satisfactory rating on ebay is the fact (and I'm not saying they do this) that alot of the people selling on ebay will not give you feedback until you give them feedback...soo if to say u wasnt happy with their service and u give them negative feedback guess what happens...ive had that happen to me and I payd for the item within 5 min of auction closing...said I was a slow payer... took me forever to get that negative feedback off my account..off subject but thats my .02

Red I wasn't saying that tri state is a scammer , all I was stating was that someone has come in created an account saying they was tri state and ask for people to PM him on the detail info of what order's they made, that would be like me going threw forums and reading that they cant get a hold of the person they just bought something from, and I go and create an account say like tri state and asked that person to give me full details on there order just to get there card number and or paypal account and steal the money from them. I'm sure and believe that tri state is a good company/person to deal with, a little odd that this topic comes up and all of a sudden someone appears out of NO where.

Your right i was not asking for any credit info, what i needed was the "Name" that bought the item and nothing else. I would never ask for anyones full information on here or elsewhere else.

I honestly never had much time to come on here before till i heard from someone that our reputation was on the line, so i signed up with this account to clarify that we answer all e-mail we receive in the order they are received.

Thanks for everyone who has been backing us up in the whole deal. I feel now i am going to have to visit this forum on a daily basis.

I was told by someone that my website name was on the line, so this is why i joined this forum. Like mention i don't have allot of time to come on here everyday as i spend most of my time with my family, but i realize i should be in here as much as i can.

I only needed a name of the person who ordered and where they ordered and nothing else. I would never ask for credit info as we only take paypal payments.

You can contact me through [email protected] to verify if needed, but please don't spam.

his name may be Reckless_1 i think he changed it, i may be wrong but i am pretty sure.

That person was helping us out in the forums since they are a family friend, but as i can see now I need to be here. So if you could stop mentioning to people we are that same person.

Thanks

that person used to have the rcu name rc racer21 just like your email address to your business then it was changed to reckless 1, now you show up. something is fishy here, so your saying your not rc racer21/reckless 1?

I haven't done business with the mentioned store (Tri County Racing) but I just visited the site. Tri County Racing really isn't doing *Due diligence* when these issues are arising. On their website they must:

1) say to add @tricountyracetrack.com to the whitelists so when they send e-mails they are read.
2) call back their customers and NOT just e-mail them, especially when it's (SMTP) known to NOT be a reliable source

check the following page

Well I finally got my order after 10 days of waiting, guess what? It's the wrong buggy they sent me a electric tornado and not the bb I ordered[:@].Come to find out tricounty don't even stock the damn things they order through red cat and red cat sends it out.Now I have a tornado epx that I don't need or want.I have called tricounty and red cat with no response *** I'm getting pissed.I see on red cats site there out of bb's,I think I should of been told that again bad buisness I must say. When I get this resolved there will be no more ordering from tri county or red cat for me.I wish I would of never even heard of red cat.Maybe this is why there downgraded so much.[:'(][:@][:@]

Default RE: Tri county racing?

First off......In their ebay store the third line states, and i quote - "All items shipped from warehouse located in AZ." with pictures of the redcat warehouse.(so check the warehouse for stock?)
secondly.... I personally look into my purchases prior to ordering. Investigate the manufacturer, the seller, forums, whatever you need to find the best method to proceeding with. I personally just bought a volcano and had no problems with it. I dealt with JEMSnc. They personally stock vehicles and almost all the replacement/hop-ups. I just placed an order for alot of misc. parts. recieved a tracking # within 2 days, email reply's within a day or 2. Recieved the product within 1 week of being processed with usps.(I live in Canada)

Redcat on the other hand is a little harder to contact. I am having a similar problem with them..... Like most companies they prefer you deal with their dealers unless it is warranty related. We do have to realize that we aren't the only people to whom the company needs to contact.....re: sales/ warranties/ inquiries/ parts/ dealers. I am in the sales industry and patrons main reasons for gettin upset are usually caused by a lack of patience and/or lack of investiation into/asking questions about the product or not paying attention.

So in conclusion I am not in connection with any of these dealers, I just got into the hobby and the amount of harsh reactions toward these companies over a few days is shocking. Think before you react and realize they are people too, that are just trying to run a business and the last thing thay want to do is piss u off.

Adam.
