Default 2.4GHz Radio

We are almost done testing some new 2.4GHz radios that will show up in some of our RTR vehicles this year.

So far they are working great and the price is hard to beat.

We will have them in 2 offerings.

A 2 Channel and a 3 Channel.

More info to come later.

wich models would you be thinking of putting them in? the 5th scale line could use a radio, but that would bring the price up as its an ARTR(servos only). would they be sold seperatly as well?

I recognize that 2nd one, but the mold of the radio is only slightly different from a KO Propo radio. not bad, not bad!

Default RE: 2.4GHz Radio

Hi,

I have the Tornado EPX and I upgraded it with this exact radio, the FlySky FS-GT3. It's got tons of features and being a newbie with these digital radio's I'm not sure what the settings do but I hope I can learn how to use all the settings soon.

I only know how to use the Trim and sub trim. What is end point? DR? ABS, ST Delay, TH delay, etc.

I tested this radio. its so cool and easy to use menu

However there is a delay in control response when car gets more than 50 meters. that makes it not a useable radio at the moment

End points are used to limit the servo movement to a specific point. name tells clearly that is, where do you want servo to end moving or stop moving. so you can tell servo how far it should travel either right or left before it reaches to its end points

DR is dual rates, that is soften or sharpen the servo travel response in each direction. how far it should move. there is a confusion and mix up between end point and DR. you can check definitions online

ABS is braking system maybe it makes servo jitter for good braking so tires won't jam

ST Delay is the delay set and TH Delay for throttle, you can set the delay for your controls

Cheers

Ali

Hi

as per my own testing and bashing the following models stood well for abuse

Volcano SV 1/10 scale Nitro Truck. Now available with S30 Models better 18 Engine

EarthQuake 3.5 1/8 Scale Nitro Truck
BackDraft 3.5 1/8 scale nitro buggy

Plus in electric

Aftershock 8E and backdraft 8E Specially took much more abuse and bashing

Cheers

Regarding endpoint, when I set the values to 0, 100, it doesn't go in reverse. However when I put 15, 100, reverse works. So what should the value be? 50,100?

Also I don't think my brakes are working. When I push brake my car tends to just slow down and then after a sec it goes in reverse. I'm wondering if it's my TX or do I have to program my Novatech ESC.
