RE: Tornado

Ihave not seen that one but Ihave been impressed with all the other Redcat products I have seen. Iplan to get the Tornado EPX Standard in the near future to go along with my Volcano S30.
Ihave been running my S30 for several weeks now and the only thing i am replacing is the servo saver and it is only like $5. It isnt broken but its a little worn.

It's not bad. The motor they use has a TON of power, with the right ESC that motor kicks serious butt. If I'm not mistaken they have changed to the EZ-run esc though, so it's not the big bulky HSP Esc. I have one of those motors on my Team Associated B3 and I paired it with a Castle Creations SV2 ESC so I could control setup the power curves through the Castle Link Program. Otherwise the motor has so much power it just makes the B3 do a standing back flip and that's no good on take off when you race, lol. The one thing I did notice about those motors is is that the Shaft is soft, it doesn't appear to be hardened steel. Which really isn't a problem unless you put the motor in a Duratrax car and launch it 30 feet in the air and land on the back of the transmission.
