Need help, pretty please

Hey guys, me again, i'm the fella with the brande new Earthquake 8e and have blown 3 sets of both front and rear diffs. After making my last post, Redcat sent me two newly shimmed diffs to put in the Quake 8e. It's been sitting on the shelf begging to be used.......ok so put in the new diffs today and went fir a test drive......

Here's the problem now......It lasted about 3 mins, then it act like it was running off of one battery, actually right away i noticed that it would wheelie. After about 2 mins it starts getting slower, and slower, and if you hold the throttle wide open it turns off, just the motor, the steering and the esc fan are still on, but no throttle. Then wait for like 10 secs, then the throttle will work, lots of power for about 30 secs, then starts to drop off again, until it quits.... oh ya, and the right battrery was very hot compared to the left battery, very hot. Has anyone had the stock batteries crap out with very little use??

Anybody with any ideas??? the battreries are stock, fully charged and balanced, they are also damaged free on the outside, and have barely been used, upon start up the esc counts 4 batteries.....

See, still can't get even 5 mins on THIS THING without something breaking, dying, and falling off.................................brand new Earthquake still</p>

Do you have access to a 4 button charger? that will allow you to discharge the batteries and rechage them to check the capacity.

i don't, but i'm sure my LHS does.  They are however smart like dumptruck and may not want to help, but will see..

the last charge did only put about 1000 mah, but both batteries did the same. I do have other batteries, but i just changed the connectors to deans

Could it be the thermal protection on the motor/esc?<div>
</div><div>Did you check motor/esc temp when your EQ stopped?</div>

Oh, just saw that one LiPo gets very hot...<div>
</div><div>I'd try another set of LiPos.</div><div>
</div><div>I wouldn't put that LiPo in any of my RCs</div><div>
</div><div>Fire is baaaaaaaad..</div>

RE: Need help, pretty please

the hot battery is always the one connected to the main power lead, if you understand what i mean</p>

Example:<div>
</div><div>"If you look at your truck from behind, the LiPo on the driver's side (left) is very hot and the other one is warm".</div><div>
</div><div>If you swap the LiPos "left/right", does the previous driver's side LiPo (now on the right side) still hot?</div>

RE: Need help, pretty please

you know how they are wired in series......the MAIN power line is the black and red with connector, then from there one red wire to the other( 2nd power line) connector with both of them being red.... then obviously it goes one red and one black  to the esc........ anywho with that being said the main power the red and black wires that the battery connects to is always the hot one.... it doesn't matter if swap the batteries around...the primary battery wires are the ones getting hot

REALLY, F&amp;^$#%% ME, i changed the connectors to deans and now it won't even come on.........
i believe i wired it exactly as how it was....??
somebody want to explain how it should be wired in series to me in case i messed up. ( i don't think i did, i wired it exactly like the flux 2350....so )
the batteries work great in the other rc's</p>

RE: Need help, pretty please

Is it possible that you inverted your dean connector (+/-) on the "red/red" part?
