Problems with redcat shockwave buggy
Ibought it off from a local guy brand new with starter kit, fuel. Iran it only 1 day and I already got many problems
1/ Whenever Itighten the glow plug, the pull start is hard to pull (feel like something is stucking). I checked for my engine and it's unflooded. But when Iloosen the plug a bit, it's a lot easier to pull. 2/ Ionly ran my buggy for a day and my radio already burned out the next day (smoke coming out near the on/off button). |

ORIGINAL: legend_217 I bought it off from a local guy brand new with starter kit, fuel. But when I loosen the plug a bit, it's a lot easier to pull. 2/ I only ran my buggy for a day and my radio already burned out the next day (smoke coming out near the on/off button). as for the motor being had to pull, it should be. especially if the motor has not been broken in yet.(process takes 4-5 tanks) the "sticking" you feel is the piston fitting very snug with the cylinder. its a good thing. if it didnt stick, then the motor wouldnt have compression and wouldnt run. |
RE: Problems with redcat shockwave buggy
If you warm up the cylinder with a hair dryer or covering gun you will find it easier to start.
