noob having problem with backdraft 8e

I got into this hobby around 5 months ago, andI received a backdraft 8e for christmas. I have been so busy with college that I have just gotten around to open the box and start bashing. My problem is that it only hassteering, and nofoward or reverse. WhenI switch the steering servo and the esc on the receiverI can control thethrottle with the steeringnoob and the steering with the throttle trigger, butif i switchit back the steering is the only thing that works.

I amnew to thishobby but have enjoyed every momentwith these cars. I do notknow what the problem iswith my backdraft, any help wold be appreciated.

It sounds like you may need to rebind it. Or the receiever is bad. But, I would try rebinding it with the bind plug. Refer to the manual. Its not that diffucult.

If anyone esle here has any ideas, please chime in.

I have rebinded it using 2 different transmitters, and it is the same problem

Hmmm, have you tried adjusting the trims on the transmitters. I had an issue where I had to reverse the settings on my spektrum radio.

I haven't the slightest idea. If you have messed with the trims the next step, I would say, is replacing the receiver. It doesn't seem like it would be the problem but it's a cheap fix.

Try recalibrate your controller.
