2 speed
 

Hello,

I was wondering what would be the steps to replace a 1 speed transmission on a shockwave buggy to a two speed. I currently have the vertex 16 engine that came default.. Now is it worth upgrading? I was told 2 speeds are not that great for off road etc as rocks and dirt can clog them up.

Any thoughts on if the .16 can even handle a 2 speed and i would love to hear what i would have to replace to get it to even work.

Also after a few tanks of fuel the spur gear on the single transmission has already worn out. Any suggestions to keep the life of the spur gear going?

Im guessing just a double gear clutch bell and a two speed transmission from redcat
