volcano parts compatible with other brands?

Hi,
does anyone know if the parts from the volcano are the same as parts off other cars from different brands? i ask because it is a slight hassle for me to order spare parts, such as body parts, (havent needed to do this yet) for the volcano, and was hoping i could buy the same or very similar parts at my local hobby shop. Thanks for any feedback :)

I went to a local shop and they didn't have anything close to fit. Just add on's like muffler and header, airfilters. None of the plastic parts like gears, or steering. Maybe you will have some luck near you.
