Extending the Tuned pipe
 

Hi every one.. I have a question; I want to extend the end of the tuned pipe on my cars, since the oily smoke makes the rear tires very difficult to clean. I tried different types of plastic and rubber pipes but all have melted down.

I need suggestion on what type of material can be used to keep up with the heat. I also want to know if this will put any load or stress on my engine.
