Tornado BB drifting

I was just in the drifting forums and was wondering if u could take a tornado bb buggy and make it a drifter??? Would you just put slicks or something on it. I don't know but it just sounded kinda fun.

RE: Tornado BB drifting

you could probably drift, the drift tires will hook right up to it, any touring tire will

those are rubber and not really good for drifting, you need the pvc, plastic tires they sell for drifting, get them pre mounted.

see where they say hard plastic under material, those are excellent for drifting, those first tires you posted are soft rubber

Okay so these would probably be good???Would they fit b/c the back rims are usually bigger than the front??? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll..._promot_widget

RE: Tornado BB drifting

they should be, but the ones i posted said hard plastic and that is perfect for drifting, when you have a 4x4 car, all 4 tires have to be the same diameter, the width doenst really matter, on the tornado, the rear wheels are a little wider than the front but the diameter are the same.

He's right I'm sorry I didn't read the whole ebay thing I thought they were hard tires. Ya know what else you can do to save actually buying a set of tires is get some PVC pipe that fits the rims and cut to fit the rims then you glue it to the rims, there's a guy here that drifts with PVC pipe for tires on his Lightning.

my tornado bb drifts great, with the stock tires and the front dogbones removed - also tightened up the suspension and lowerd it a little. I was drifting circles around a coworker with a hpi rs4 until a high speed collision that bent my HSN and made it start leaking

RE: Tornado BB drifting

How do i lower and tighten the suspension???

ehroof 06-04-2007 08:49 PM

RE: Tornado BB drifting

move the shocks further out, you will see the holes on the top shock board and where it hooks up to the lower a arms
