Shock Oil Alternative

OK, let's just say that my experience with my new BB is not going great. Anyway, one of the rear shocks came unscrewed and all the oil came out. Is there anything safe to use for the weekend until I can get to my LHS (not so local) for some shock oil.

RE: Shock Oil Alternative

Well I found some power steering oil in the back of my truck. Being that a power steering pump has all kinds of o-rings and hoses etc. I figured it could not do too much damage until Monday when I can get some shock oil or I may just buy all new shocks. Buddy of mine that turned me on to Redcat has had two shocks come unscrew at the bottom and leak oil. Might be better off just getting different shocks.

I did take all shocks off and tighten them just to make sure.

Get them tight and put a dab of locktight on them to keep them from unscrewing.
