1/10th scale problems

Ok. so I got the 1/10 scale rc buggy tornado xp and i was racing it around in a parking lot and i lost the sinal. the buggy went into the wall at full speed and the carbuerator broke off the engine. So i got the replacement parts but when I put them back on and all was finished I took the car out to test it and it won't work. The engine starts perfectley and keeps going, but for some reason when its on the ground none of the power from the engine is rotating the wheels so it goes very very slow or just sits there. WHat would cause the loss of power to the wheels? I checked all the gears and they all spin and work fine. any ideas? thanks!

check the set screws in the drive cups that hold the dogbones, make sure that grub screw is tight in all of them, most likely they are loose.

Check the direction of the owb in the spur gear. might be backwards

its inside the second gear spur, if its not engaging in first gears its probably not that.

I just ran it and it seems like all 4 wheels are moving, but when placed on the ground, they either barely turn or don't turn at all. Also the chasis is bent a little in front, causing the diff. box to be at a slight angle. Would this affect it?

are the spur gears turning while your giving it throttle? if they are, are the front and rear dog bones?

You probably Destroyed a Diff somewhere. Check them because it sounds like it's Slipping somewhere.

Check the clutch! You probably smoked the shoes! Take the clutch bell off and see if the shoes look shiny and discolored. If they are, take some very fine sand paper and scuff the shoes up until they look clean and then do the same to the inside of the clutch bell.

Hope this helps!
