My Buggy slip up side down on the concrete, that`s why I only want this part...
I found this http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLVW5&P=0 but duno if this 1/8 buggy parts will fit on Tornado shock. Thanks |
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
i doubt it, 1/8 shocks are usually much larger
|
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
for that price your prolly better off just buying 2 new ones. for a few bucks more.
|
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts

RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
Answer from Clermont Hobby.: no you cant get that seperate. sorry
|
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
you could have put some epoxy or ca on that, take it off first. then you would be ok, i have seen worse than that
|
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
ORIGINAL: ehroof ca on that What "ca" mean ? |
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
its a type of super glue for modeling. just dont glue or epoxy it with that on the ball, take it off and put some tape on it from the inside and use some epoxy, that would be a pretty good fix for a while.
|
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
i just got an email back from redcat, and they said ofna offers a rebuild kit that will work for the shocks.. so id check and see if you can find one than post up a link, i would but im about to leave. [8D]

RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
this looks to be about right: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCVS0&P=7
thats just the plastic parts, there is a rebuild kit, that looks to be the same parts that will fit, and also some shocks assemblies on there that look like they will fit right up to. im guessing ofna has a bunch of parts that will be compatable with the redcats, they got a large assortments of wings that will fit in different colors, and their not even drilled yet. |
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
Wow thanks tyhodge07 . Will try to find those parts here...
Did you email readcat at support@.... ?? didn`t received any reply from them |
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
i think i emailed them through sales.. all the email said was "ofna sells rebuilds kit" said just like that, lol
|
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
that is for the hyper 7, its 1/8 and probably too big
|
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
im not to familiar with ofna parts, theres other stuff on there like that to.. just got to look.
|
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
I finally try epoxy but it not stick on this kind of plastic
|
RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
I haven't tried it but if you could find someone with a hot glue gun I think that would work on that plastic[&o]

RE: LF - Tornado Shock parts
Hi,
Finally I fix the shocks with plastic weld Epoxy. I burned aprox. 8-9 fuel tanks today without any problems except that I lost 1 dogbone, 1 screw monting shoks, bend another dogbone and broke 1 antenna pipe... Other than that i`m happy with my tornado.... http://www.permatex.com/images/Displ...otos/84115.jpg http://www.permatex.com/products/aut...astic_Weld.htm |
