Shockwave top speed
 

Hello everyone

im new to this forum and fairly new to nitro rc. i had a rustler when i was younger. decided to get back in the hobby and found this forum. thats what made me decide to go with the shockwave. it should be here in a few more days. my question is......i see the claims everywhere that it will do 60 mph. well i know this is probably not true, but what is the top speed in your experience? thanks in advance

i would say about 30mph, i personally dont have the shockwave but my volcano stx was radar'd at 31mph and its single speed.

MY tornado xp with a single speed was radar'd at just over 35mph with a hot wheels radar gun from Eddie. And I have heard of other people getting there Shock wave up to and over 40mph. So it is all in how you tune it and what fuel you use.

i got my tornado xp to do 42mph, i could have gotten more i think, if i leaned it.

wish i had a radar gun, all i know is my tornado is pretty daggum fast, same with tsunami, both single speed upgrades
