Hey guys, took the plunge, i ordered the monsoon. Hopefully it will get here soon, then i can post in the monsoon thread, lol

Thats a good one dennis. From what I can remember is my REDCAT MONSOON always starts and finishes the day at your track running fine but the CEN MATRIX always has some sort of servo problem[X(], tire problem[X(], spur gear problem[X(], clutch bell problem[X(], servo saver problem[X(]. I think that is about a problem for each week I went out to the track and did not see it running at the end[&o]. ANYBODY CAN GO FAST FOR ONE LAP!! LMFAO!!!

Seriously though I WILL catch you one day especially after I bolt on my new chassis that probably will not fit LOL

ehroof you are going to love it. I run 5-7-3 in my monsoon but think I am going to change it to 7-10-5 and see how it is. Got to catch that matrix for at least one lap!

Also ehroof I put 60wt shock fluid in all 4 shocks. When it comes stock it is way too springy like the fluid it to thin. Put some proline crimefighters on it but you have to get the offset wheels or it will not be as wide as it is stock. I have also found out that the lower it sits the better it is on the track. I had it riding higher but it would tend to lean too much and after I lowered it to where the axles were slightly lower than center is made a big difference. Yes Dennis, I know I copied you on the ride height but after seeing yours like that and how fast you are it works :D

Also if you want you body to last since it sits right on top of the pipe get some heat shield and put it on the side of the body. If not, that thin body will melt right away.

thanks bro, my mutilator had the same problem with the body melting from the pipe, seems alot of truggies have that problem.

I get the from my job. If you go to a motorcycle dealer like kawasaki or yamaha and say you are looking for some heat shield that comes on a atv like a brute force or grizzly. They will have to order it but you get a big sheet. I have put that on my bodies right next to the pipe on the inside and they stay looking like new. They might sell it elsewhere but do not know where.

yep, when I got my monsoon and waiting for my hyper to come in the mail the days would go by so slow and when it came in I did not want to know or be bothered with anything but my truck.
