Finally!
So i finally got all my new parts on my car and got it running and now were getting a snow storm and i wanna enter the bashing contest soooooo just wondering anyone know of a quick fix to protect electrics in the car from the snow?

RE: Finally!
lol, you have another 2 weeks, lol. wait for it to stop snowing and go away, its not a good idea to run in the snow, not only the electronics but just the metal parts and the bearings can get rusty from the moisture.

RE: Finally!
Just film a bashing video in the living room!:)
You can protect the electronics by putting them in plastic bags. I have also heard about people using that rubber in a can stuff to coat the servos so they are more water resistant. Just remember, if any of the electronics start acting up, shut the car off and let everything dry out for a day or so. Good luck, |
RE: Finally!
but the fact of the matter is its a bashing video and with a inch a hour of snow comin down and my car going off a quarter pipe up the road will win the contest for me lol =)

RE: Finally!
and yeah me and my friend are gonna try to water proof it i wont keep it out long

RE: Finally!
put the electronics in a condom, that should keep them pretty dry, the servo's can be dipped in liquid electrical tape, home depot sells it.
|
RE: Finally!
Open the servos up and put dielectric grease in them. Put the receiver in a baloon or even a baggie. This will water proof them. The grease works awsome.

RE: Finally!
Also noticed as a quick dry to use a hair dryer on high lotsa heat dries it up realll fast
