I ordered a Exceed Razor this morning. I think it looks better than the Hurricane which is cool to but i like all the black in the Razor. I see they have a lot of problems with shipping so i hope my order comes the way i ordered it, i guess i will find out. Also i know that the engine is a bit smaller and some of the other parts are cheaper but you know. Atleast i am still supporting HSP and china. lol And i will continue to order redcat parts for all of my cars, even though i dont own a offical redcat nitro. I do have my electric Nami i won that has been keeping me going in my nitro downtime.

I need help with this though, i ordered the direct drive setup for my volcano and didnt even think about ordering a spare spur gear, which spur gear is in that? I should probably order one just to have a extra and i want to get the upgraded header for it also.

Hey it is ok... i thought that too when i bought my exceed rc extreem with the fire black body... and to me and them it is a redcat with a difrent body... that is all... and they dont hate me... they are my frend on hear... so make your self at home with your exceed in the fourm! and dont blame your self is you dont like the exceed rc fourm there is no one on that one that one is the first one i tryed for about a month then i switched to hear in the redcat fourm and i got a lot more help... on the exceed fourm you have to wate about a day for a reply becouse no one is on there and the redcat if you time it with in 5 min you get a reply... so there is a big difrence...

i must not be rememberable cause i have been on here since december i post a lot. lol JK yes the razor is basically the hurricane XL but they dont sell that one no more. This is the one i ordered

You could have gotten a Redcat for the same price! Oh well, that thing looks great with the red and black! Hope you enjoy it.

waho ya that does look good... i must get one... and i dont like ordering form nitrorcx and raidentech... becouse for smaller orders they are a scam. they will take your money and run and wont awncer your calls and wont reply to your emails.... so just be carful...

The cheapest Hurricane i could find was $289 still more then what i paid. Plus if i got the hurricane i would have to get new wheels/wing/exhaust....all that neat black stuff on there. even if it is plastic...and then the aluminum stuff is silver not purple. could have sanded that off but still...hurricane would have came with a better engine though, thats the only bummer with my order.

Oh btw, be ready to return the exceed. Darin forgot to post that exceed can't get a an order right. no offence they just seem to have tons of problems.

hey bro, you forgot about the pipe, redcats have a nice chrome tuned pipe

also, we have some serious support, we are much cooler and have the best looking support out there.

I wont hate ya...lol..looks good...thinking i woulda went redcat...bought a black wing for like $14, big block tires mounted on black wheels for $15..and bought the exceed body..but thats me..lol..body looks kewl..oh I forgot to add the clermont p3 mod...plus you actually get to talk to the owner of redcat.(major bonus)..#1 support of anyone..im the best lookin...iffin ya dont believe me, just ask me.. I'll tell ya...lol

Well i like the black exhaust. And im sure Darin would be kind enough to talk to me if i had some issues. I have never called redcat support. I just get on here and read stuff, there are like 15 different posts for almost every problem.

cause the "volcano" is the other cheap one i got for my birthday, remember all the problems i had with the engine and i couldnt figure what kind of engine it was? i have been making it a redcat since i got it, got the VX .18 now i am putting the direct drive in it.

Ok and that is the spur gear for the 13t clutch bell right?

yes it is the right gear for the single speed setup and you should have gotten a redcat to begine with, lol

yeah yeah yeah...i had no idea about any of them when i first got it....like they always say "if i would have known then what i know now" even though that didnt catch on cause i still got a exceed this time...i would like to say if the XL was still available that would have been my choice but nooooo...lol also they need to make the shockwave $99 again. :)
