is it too cold for break in
 
well i was wondering if anyone could tell me what a safe temp outside is to break in my ultrawide its 32 here now is that too cold or will it be ok as long as i dont hammer on it thank you for any info....

you could try to wrap the cooling head with tin foil to get the temps up but i have 4 cars that need to be broken in and will be waiting for warmer temps, close to 50's.

Wait until you are at temps around 65-70. Set the carb up accordingly with the manual (they are written up for those temps) and begin break in

in the prosses of it myself i am on tank 3 it is 31 here and my head temp is just fine just run with the body on. no need to wrap. you got a temp gun?

What are you motor temps? they should be up to at least 210-220 for a proper break in.

hint use a peace of somethin behind the throt. to let u run 1/4 then 1/2 something that will not change. just tape it there

my temp is 219 low 232 high but around 220

you have got to be kidding, you think people dont break their cars in in canada or other cooler climates? I would suggest upper 40's to lower 50's but to tell someone to wait until its 70 degrees is just stupid.

why would you do that. you want to alternate the throtle.

yes you are right start with something that lets ya do 1/4 then 1/2 then 3/4 then nothing. sorry i was not clear on that

oh ya, i should have thought that you mean that. thats a good idea. you just have to do it in a way that wont make it stick. where did you put the block peace

on the contrler itself so it would not fall off. little duck tape. bingo just cut a little wood block small very small alot of stuff will work just look around
