What is a good receiver to go with to replace the original in the Tornado bb pro..Do you need to change the servos on these as well,the servos look like a futaba but hispeed h3003.
I have heard about the hitec ultra torque steering servo and the novak xxl receiver..will these work with the original Fm radio......

if ur not having trouble no need to change it...if u do it just depends on how fancy u wanna get and what ur needs are...you wanting $75 or less or $200 or less?...im assuming u got scared of the radio from the glitching thread..you do have a fm radio right?

if you replace the reciver i think you should just replace everything. you can get a half decent radio system for around 75-100 bux:D

looking at the spektrum dx2.0 i think....2.4 dsm with servos and receiver for 140.00 thought that might be alot better way to go.....

just make sure if you want to use the orig radio box that you find a small receiver I got a jr xr2 setup and the reciever fits but then the battery doesent

yes spektrum is the way to go. They also have a special right now for another month or so, purchase a radio and an extra receiver get another free, purchase a radio and 2 receivers get 2 for free. not a bad deal.

Went with the Dx2.0 and I must say wow...The range is unbeleivable and the ability to adjust Your EPA to 125....I kept the the original s3003 servos until they strip then i will replace with the newer race servos.All in all pretty happy considering i sold the fm radio and receiver that came with the tornado for 75.00 bucks and got the dx2.0 for 139.99 my lhs matched thebarnfloor pricing.......Thanks for the replies.......J

how does this work???..so I buy a radio and reciever and an extra reciever and they send me a reciever??...for a total of 3 recievers?....or do I have to buy all 3 recievers and they give me a refund???....and if I buy 2 xtra recievers that would give me a total of 5 correct?

If you buy radio and extra receiver you get 1 free by mail for a total of 3..If you buy 2 receivers you get 2 free thats a total of 5.....The kicker is the dx2.0 I bought was robbed of the sr3000 receiver so he gave me the sr3001 wich is way better.......You will love this setup......

thats what I have kodiak...its pretty nice...but that spektrum deal sounds pretty good...how much would a radio and 2 extra sr3001 recievers run???

Man it was perfect weather here today ran for 3-4 hrs and trashed my front end...So i will be ordering from clermont tommorrow..lol....Has anyone heard of a hyper 12 engine and will it fit in a tornado.....This thing flies,there was a dude that had one in hi 2wd buggy/truggy and it would leave ruts where he gassed it and it took off inpressive power..I WANT ONE NOW....lol
