And ALWAYS make sure you leave the piston at BDC when its cooling down. Make sure you use after run oil when you are done for the day

You can put a sock or foil around the head to get the temps up. You want it to get up around 200. Dont lean it out or run it harder to get the temps up though.
Good luck
Are you going to be racing at FBF?

If it wasnt such a long drive Id be there all the time. Im out east though.. One of these days Ill get in there. Is it just on road or is there an off road section too? Where exactly is it at FBF? I used to go there several times a week for work and I never even knew there was an RC track there.

RE: Break in

the on road track is where you first go in the place on the right. there is no offroad we just go further down and bash.

In on the right? Just past the guard booth?
Im looking at an aerial map now. I never saw the track before. I must have driven past it 1000 times. Where do you park for it?

ehroof 03-13-2008 03:50 PM

RE: Break in

yes, you will see a clearing and a mound of grass, its behind that mound, you park in that parking lot after the booth on the right and walk over to it, you cant really see it from the road.

How long has the track been there? Im looking at live.com on the aerial map the track is there, on the birds eye view its not. Guess the pictures where taken at different times
