well i got my tsunami about 4 days ago i started to breake in 2 days ago i ran a tank full at idle it wase about 45 degrees outside. It ran good., really rich. When I pinched the fuel line, it took about 4 seconds, with a little pick up in rpm to kill the engine. Today, I started it up, ran it for 5 minutes, at 1/4 troddle stopping and starting. Shut it off and waited about 2 hours, had to trestarted it the house due to the temp outside which about 35 degrees, did the stop and start about 1/4 traddle for 5 minutes, temp. when dropped water on the head it evaperated immediately. I feel I am running it really rich there is alot of oily smoke coming out of it. I am using monster trinity horse power blend 20% nitro. The settings on the carbs are slightly richer then the factory. Should I riching it more or is this normal, please help. Bob

you run richer with colder air and leaner in warmer air. So if its much colder than the last time you ran it, you may need to richen the needles a little.

also its ok to evaporate but if it pops and sizzles its too hot.

no popping or sizzle but it seamnd to slow a bit right befor i stoped it im only runing 5 min should i richinit with the h screw or the i one im only using 1/4 throttle i taped a nut be hind the trigger to make sheur

i would leave it, if its not sizzling your fine, if you put it on your finger and wipe the head, you will feel the sizzle if its hot, if its evaporating, your ok

i learned the hard way that a temp gun/gauge is a must .
