RE: ESC
Did you recently to any changes to the car?
Either to much motor or to much battery. I am going to say to much motor. |
RE: ESC
nope it's got a stock motor, which i believe is the same or very similar to the redcat stock electric motors. It has only a 3300mah battery with an upgraded LRP ESC(because he fried the other one in the snow).

RE: ESC
check the battery connections. try going to deans plugs. tamiya plugs tend to get hot and i have had them catch on fire on me.

RE: ESC
can you get me a link to the specific one, i found a bunch of different ones and i'm not sure which on to get?

RE: ESC
my brushless on my volcano gets warm. I am installing a fan on the esc. Also the battery and motor gets warm but running it down in the florida heat and beating the heck out of it, I cant complain. I also use deans plugs.. the 5000 lipo melted the tamiya plugs. lol
