differences between cvr and cv rx
 
just looking on ebay and found a good deal on an cvr. i know that cvrx is a good motor. is there much difference???. whats better???. also it has no pull start or clutchbell. will my rotobackplate and clutchbell work on it from a g3.0???

i know the clutch bell and rotostart will work but the CV-RX is the short shaft verson... we want the CV-R not the CV-RX

well i placed a bid on it on ebay. heres the motor from tower. i see its discontined but not the other one so it should be ok. hopefully the shaft lenght will be ok. will this fit in a volcano???

But see if you can get the OS 18TZ Turbo with Roto carb! 1.8hp and the OS CV-R makes 1.35 hp so you will feel a difrence!

ok i didint place a huge bid on that engine so if i win it, it would be a bonus. not i just know not to keep on bidding. thanks:D. also my freind wants a tuned pipe and i was thinking i should just orderhim one from the same seller. is this a good pipe or should i just get him to get the redcat one. he has a SV

Yes that is a good pipe! he will notice a big difrence in power with that!!!

that has the slide carb. you need the rotary

Where is your sense of fun Dennis :D Unless you have done Mods from rotary to slide before you should pay close attention to what Clermont has to say [:-]

Like clermont said you need the 11J rotary carb. The slide will not work and if you get the one with the short shaft you can get the shaft extender that will change it to the sg shaft type. It screws right to the short shaft and makes it Sg. So the one you are bidding on will work.

well you could find a rear Exaust header that might fit.

No its not. CV-RX is PULLSTART. CV-R is standard version. CV-R(s) has short shaft, CV-RX(s) has short shaft... the (s) means short shaft.

well i got a freinds vx right now to put in the truck. so thats good ill be able to drive now:D. i also am going to order this pipe. is this one better then the redcat tuned pipe???. will it work well with the vx. im also going to put a hpi header on it[8D]
