Digital servos are the way to go, its also stronger than the hitec 645, although its made by hitec. If you are a tower hobbies super saver, you get double warranty, so it''d be 2 year warranty on this servo.

Kemo, actually from what most of have used, the digital servo''s being used in truggies and buggies like that one do not hold up at all. For planes the digital are nice but not the abuse the off road cars need. That is just under our conditions and is an opinion.

I stripped the nylon gear in my steering servo yesterday, so I am in a similiar circumstance. Being on a student budget, MG995 looks like the only choice I have.

Well, I suppose another option is the Traxxas 2055 servos, that usually sell for $15 each on ebay. They are high-torque, but with nylon gears and probobly not ball bearings.
