Good or not?
I have baght a t-maxx and i regret it now. parts are way to expensive for me and i see that red cats are a little cheaper. im looking at a red cat buggy. are they good quality? and good for beginer?

RE: Good or not?
The Redcat Tornado is a great buggy. It has to be my favorite 1/10th Redcat. The Tornado BB has a great engine that will give you very few problems.

RE: Good or not?
hmm, what about in terms of electric? i want some thing i can race on a BMX track. i dont really like the idea of buying a nitro again :(. ty for the help.

RE: Good or not?
The electric Tornado out of the box is not all that exciting to be honest. If you add the brushless motor to it then it is a whole new animal.

RE: Good or not?
also dont forget you will need a decent lipo battery to get max power. I run the 2s 5000 lipo.
|
RE: Good or not?
I only accept paypal for now, don't have the cc service setup just yet.

RE: Good or not?
Although it looks fast it's lacking the nitro sound. I'm sorry but I'd never buy electric I wouldn't care if it's faster or not. I'd rather fight with tuning than waiting for a battery pack to charge.Once you hear nitro running it's hard to listen to electric thats just me though.
Edit: as for Redcat quality I love my monsoon and hurricane I've slammed my monsoon alot still haven't had a chance with the hurricane but I will when the snow melts. |

RE: Good or not?

Electric is like watching NASCAR with the mute on [&:]

RE: Good or not?
lol i think you guys talked me into a nitro. im thinking a smaller one maybe, or a 1/10 buggy/truggy. im thinking a 1/16 wouldnt use alot of fuel compared to my t-maxx. or is it about the same? idk alot about them :(

RE: Good or not?
ok, i think ive decided on the Tornado S30 or the Tsunami Ultrawide. but i have one last question, what do i need to buy for these to be drivable? or are they rtr.
