Redcat racing website issue
 

Hey I am having issues on redcatracing.com I am trying to do a search for exhaust and when I do I get an error message saying the task cannot be completed and then it seems to crash the site. I can search for anything else just not exhaust

Which search are you using?

If you use the one at top right of the home page, this is the page I get.

http://www.redcatracing.com/RC-Cars?search=exhaust

Also, what it the exact search term you are using?

top right of main page: exhaust

error and website crashes.... same here.... not working.

Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP Pro.
all security update installed.

edit: internet explorer cannot open the site ''http://www.redcatracing.com/RC-Cars?search=exhaust''
operation cancelled

This is the exact error i get when i use the search top right corner of main page.
When i click OK in the error box, the browser exits
I get the exact same thing when i click on the link you posted (since its the string use to search when using the search feature on your site)

what about searching the parts by model. When i click on catagory volcano SV and on rc car parts and hit search it doesnt do anything? However i can search manually by parts number but takes a long time if you have a long list like i always do. thank you

Are you going here:

http://www.redcatracing.com/search/volcanosearch.html

When you click the submit button for volcano SV it should show you all parts associated with that model.

yes im going there but its nit showing all of the parts as you described. I click it and nothing happens.

I just tested here with multiple versions of IE with no problem. Can someone else check with internet explorer if you are getting the problem above.

Darin, the part # or description search works, but the category search is not working
