question on new vortex SS model.
 

hello, my cousin just ordered the new vortex SS nitro model and i was wondering what kind of top speed it will put out. would it be faster than a traxxas t-maxx 3.3? thanks!

If the t maxx can only do 45 then ya, the vortex should beat the t maxx. Im not posotive on the vortex's top speed, but ive had a buggy which is the same drive train, and should be the same gear ratio, and that thing hauls. Once it hits second its gone. My volcano hit 40, and the buggy seemed way faster.

I'm sorry, I hate to break it to ya, but the vortex ss only has the VX .18 in it, and in no way will it beat a traxxas 3.3. Sorry, but it won't.

You are probably right in a fair race but there are ways to slow them down :eek:[sm=lol.gif]

Yeah, I've seen a few traxxas 3.3s run, and those suckers can haul a^# when tuned right. The VX just won't be able to hang with a t-maxx or a revo and definetly not the Jato ( in a straight away ).

Well the t maxx says it does 45 mph, and the vortex will do that. Even if it doesnt beat the t maxx, it will be right on its tail. Like i said i got my truck to 40, and the tornado was faster, so im guessing at least 45. I may be wrong so dont quote me, but the t maxx deffinitely wont smoke the vortex.
