Question?

Hey guy's,

The parts I ordered for my Volcano's SV came in today. I want to really thank mike from RUFaster for helping me out
because I live all the way in Aruba. Ok now for the question; I ordered a tuned pipe and the replacement exhaust manifold
can the original gasket from the exhaust manifold be used for the replacement manifold?

RE: Question?

i think as long as the gasket comes off clean and doesn't tear you can use it.
but yes, the same gasket will work on the header pipe. I installed my header pipe and tuned muffler before i ever ran my engine, and i used the same gasket that came on the engine.
but, if your engine has been ran already, the used gasket may eventually start to leak.

Choopz, the gasket is normaly included with the exhaust manifold, if you didnt get one with yours let me know and I will send a few at no charge with next order. :)

RE: Question?

I got the tuned pipe and manifold for my landslide and the gaskets were both the same. I advise you to use thread locker though because I had a screw come loose and the manifold came loose.

RE: Question?

yes, loc-tite the manifold screws when you put them back in. there is alot of vibration there, and the screws will back out if you don't use loc-tite.
i got the tuned pipe and header, but i did not get a gasket or the silicone coupler with them.
so i had to use the original gasket and coupler from the stock exhaust that came on my engine.
